Question

I cant get my serger to sew - I have just replaced a needle after theone that was in there broke and now after I have tried three times making sure it was the right way in and all the way up it still doesnt work and the stiches are still not forming - what next? It was working perfectly before the needle broker - oh and I also replaced the lower blade
