Pfaff Select 1540. We have a pfaff Select 1540 and for some reason the "bobbin" holder is not

Question

We have a pfaff Select 1540 and for some reason the "bobbin" holder is not moving in sync with the needle and has broken numerous needles - how can we get the bobbin back in alignment with the timing of the needle????[e-mail],My bobbin holder is out of sinc with the needle and the needle keeps jambing onto it.It would be great if someone could please advise what to do.Thanks
