Pfaff creative 1471 cleaning & oiling

It's an older sewing machine and it needs cleaning & oiling. This should be something I could do myself but there is no clue as how to take the covers off. I know the Germans like to have clever hidden gizmos. I was hoping to find a repair manual for this machine as I am somewhat handy.Lillie
