Pfleuger reels ????

Question

I am thinking about buying a Pflueger spinning reel. I was wanting either a President or a Trion. I don't know which one to get. I'm leaning torward the President because it's bigger. One of my friends has a Trion and its about 5 or 6 years old and its still pretty smooth. If you have a Presidnt or a Trion, please tell me what you think of them. And do you think that they're worth the money. I mostly fish in farm ponds for bass. Also, I was also considering an ABU Garcia Cardinal. Thanks

I have both and to be short and to the point, get the President! Not that there's anything wrong with the Trion, there isn't, but the President is a little smoother and handles light line a little better.

I just bought a President 6720x (ultralight) earlier today. Freshly spooled with Stren 6lb test on a Shimano Stimula rod. It's the best set up i've ever had. The reel has such a smooth drag it's perect and very light. I do not know about durability being hat i've only had this reel for a couple hours but having the Pflueger name i'd trust it with everything i've got. I have not tried any other Pflueger products but everyone I fish with uses them and  says that they are the best.

get the president i have 1 its caught me about 50 bass lots of bluegill tilipia crappie catfish turtles and a few gators ive had it for a year and its survied falling off fourwheelers falling in a pond ive also used it in saltwater very good and i fish in small farm ponds to its realy good though
