Pgce interview?

Hi I have to do a 5 min presentation for my pgce interview, however I timed myself and it took me 7 mins to complete the presentation, do you know if you are timed when doing the presentation

stick it to 5 minutes!

read it aloud to some of your friends and family ask them their opinons!

i have had 2 interviews for this september, if you prep you should be fine

As far as i am aware it is just an estimate but its probley better if you cut bits out and stick to 5 minutes.

Yes and no.

You don't have to have it spot on to exactly 5 minutes.

However you will talk more quickly due to nerves.

In reality you will do what a good classroom teacher does.

If I have a 50 minute lesson. I know what I can cut out if I am  likely to go over time and I also have something I can add in if I under run.

Your 7 minutes is a bit over. Try to lose about 10%
