Phagocytosis vs. Antibody Mediated Immunity?

What is the difference? When does which one occur? Are they the same thing? I'm having trouble deciphering my own notes. lol

  1. Antibody Mediated Immunity is a whole process who involves many steps, one of them (the final) is phagocytosis. AMI begins with the sensibilization of B-cells with the antigen, then B-cells made antibodies, antibodies join with their specific antigen and this complex antigen/antibody finally activates cells like macrophages, which  phagocite the antibody/antigen complex.

    Phagocytosis is the final stept of both Antibody mediated and Cell mediated Immunity, even Complement -Mediated Immunity.
