I am in NO WAY saying that the Folley ko wasn't legitimate. I am merely speaking in ADMIRATION of Ali's effortless shot!

I DO think of course the phantom punch was a Dive.

Folley was a very skilled boxer but when he fought Ali there was just no way Folley could keep up with him.  Folley had waited 12 years for a title shot and unfortunately Folley was an old 36 who had been through alot of fights.  The shot he was hit with was legitimate just as the many shots he took before that were.

Ali had a famous mystifying KO in the 2nd Liston fight I would bet money that Liston took a 10 count on purpose and I am not a betting man.

I saw the fight in 67 on television.  Folley actually fought pretty well against Ali even though there was never any doubt about the outcome.  Folley was already on the decline when this fight took place in what turned out to be Ali's last fight until his ring return in 1970.  The punch he hit Folley with was a very fast and chopping punch right on the money that sent him down for the count.  It happened so fast which is simply a testement to the fast hands of Ali.
