Phantom of the Opera: In Paris, was there actually a Phantom? And general phantom trivia..?

I use to be a big.. well HUGE fan, and I'd like to get refreshed, so if you know anything intresting, funny, etc. please let me know!

By the way, are there any VIDEO recordings of the original London Phantom cast?

I don't know about recording but I do know that was No

Phantom and the story was just that a story. I do however

know that when they do tours at the Paris Opera house

so many Americans ask about it that the tour guides now

point out a box and tell them that is where the Phantom sat rather than explain again and again it was just a story!

from what i know, the phantom of the opera was a book which several movies were based off of (the one with Lon Chaney, the musical, etc.). as to the reality of an actual Phantom, i highly doubt that.
