I'm looking to buy 6 seats to phantom of the opera for a group. I can either get orchestra row P for $75, or orchestra row D for $123. Is row D worth the extra $48?

  1. I would recommend orchestra row D, but it also really depends if they are center seats or what. If possible, get center orchestra seats. You will be right in the middle of the action :)

Row P deffinitley isn't bad, but the only problem is I believe row P is underneath the mezzanine balcony, so you can't always see the Phantom during certain parts of the show.

Have fun at the show! Whichever seats you choose, it will be amazing.

  2. This will depend on which side of the theater (if you are not in the center) as well as how close do you want to be to the orchestra?  I would say no, you would rather be a little farther away so you can see more of the stage and not be completely drowned out by the orchestra.  There really aren't "bad" seats for Phantom of the Opera though...I've been in the center of the theater and in the very back row, and I don't have a complaint about either seat, but if you are too far to one side of the theater it will cut down on the amount of that side of the stage you can see...so i would say go with row P, but make sure you are as close to the center of that row as possible!  Enjoy!

  3. Yep. Are you familiar with the musical? Something happens near the first few rows.

  4. it all depends on how far into the center the seats are.

all i know is that as a birthday present all my friends pitched in to buy me 2nd row orchestra on the right side, aisle seat (i'm drooling too!) and it was amazing to be that close to all that talent.

however i found that most of the action took place on the left or centerstage, and some is even elevated at the balcony level.

i'd say take the seats farther away because there are absolutley no bad seats for this and you don't want to pay a whole nother price for closer seats.
