  1. Pharmacists are licensed by the state. Each state is different. Your best bet is to contact the Board of Pharmacy in the state of interest.

However, you realize you just can't come to the US and work. You will need a work VISA. It's easier for a Canadian to get a work VISA than a citizens of other countries due to NAFTA, but you still need to be sponsored by an employer.

  2. The main issue is when did you graduate and where.  Some of the older degrees, pre-2004, were actually accredited by the U.S. pharmacy accreditation board.  If you have one of those degrees, than you just have to take the NAPLEX and MJPE.  If you don't have one of those degrees, than you'll have to take the FPGEE and complete an internship.  If you graduated before 2003, you'll just need a 4 year bachelors degree, but if you graduated after 2003, you'll need a 5 year bachelors degree.
