Everton’s Phil Neville has gone on to praise former Manchester United defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Neville-c14447, after the player got called up to the England national team to be part of the coaching staff.
Roy Hodgson went on to call the former defender into the national team and Neville is now set to see out the next four years as a coach for the national team.
Gary’s brother and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043 captain, Phil Neville believes that Gary’s experience and knowhow of how matches are won, could prove to be very valuable to the national team, as they look to go on and win the Euro 2012.
When talking about Gary and just how he could prove to be vital to the England squad, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Phil-Neville-c29904 is reported to have said: "He is someone who has played in five major tournaments, played nearly 90 times for England and someone who has played with nearly
all the players - but he has had a year away from them, which gives that distance”
"He is well respected and the year he has had on the telly has won a lot of people over.
"He has had success in the Premiership, he has won titles and the Champions League.”
He then went on to admit that Gary was one of the most honest men out there and that his honesty and ability to say whatever was on his mind to the players, could help spur the team on and get them to build on their confidence and learn from their mistakes.
"Let me tell you one thing about Gary: Whatever he says on TV, he would be prepared to say to a players' face in the changing room," he added.
"Gary will be honest. He has so much enthusiasm for wanting England to do better."
Neville is set to go on and start helping Hodgson and the rest of the coaching staff out in the near future. With the former United player’s expertise now a part of the England set up, it is safe to assume that the defenders are going to finally be able
to learn from one of the best to ever play for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
