Question:

Phil Simm's son Matt "suspended" at Kentucky?

It now seems both of Phil's sons are in the news. Chris, the unhappy 4th QB in Tampa, is hoping for his cut tomorrow from the Bucs. And now I read that son Matt, starting his redshirt year at Kentucky as QB, has been suspended for the first four games.

What did Matt do to get suspended? Any locals from Kentucky that can clue us in?

    Says unspecified team violations.

  2. Matt Simms doesn't play for UK. He plays for Louisville. I sure wish he did, we could use some real help, the only trouble Kentucky has had with QB's is Will Fidler with one arrest and Curtis Pulley who was arrested three times, once in Lexington, one in Hopkinsville, and one in Elizabethtown, Ky. where I live. Louisville suspended Matt Simms 4 games for undisclosed violations of team rules. He better come back right away because Hunter Cantwell their QB, really stunk against UK.
