Phil Taylor.....is he the greatest world champ ever?

People look at me funny when I say this but look at his record its amazing. Anyone else agree?

he is. nobody has been a world champion 13 times! nobody else has even come close, that is just the world championships, he has won countless other tournuments all over the world.

I would say he is up there yes, although the Americans would contest it i think because its what they do.

Phil Taylor has dominated for years and he still looks like he's doing it for fun.

He has far surpassed his former mentor.

he's certainly the greatest darts player ever,but the best world champion.............would have to give that accolade to 400m hurdler Ed Moses.....so nonchalant he didn't even bother to tie his laces..........and darts players are basically a load of tossers....if you get the pun

Joe Davis won the world snooker title 15 times in succession unbeaten and as much as I admire 'The Power' he has to equal if not surpass Taylor's achievements.
