Legendary English darts champion, Phil Taylor, predicts Bayern Munich and Barcelona to play the final of the UEFA Champions League. He mentioned that both sides possess special talent and are therefore favourites to lock horns
next month.
Taylor claimed that Bayern are better in quality than Real Madrid and should be able to brush them aside in the semi-final. He also clarified that Barcelona are the strongest unit left in the competition and therefore will definitely
ease past Chelsea in the other semi-final.
The 51-year-old opined that Jose Mourinho’s men will not get past Bayern’s challenge despite being in top form in the La Liga. Madrid are currently atop the league standings in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 while the Reds are six points short of Borussia
Dortmund in the Bundesliga at the second spot.
While talking to sports website, Goal.com, the 13-time World Championship winner further added: "I'm tipping the final to be Barcelona against Bayern Munich. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 won't stand a chance against Barca. When Chelsea said, 'We're
not scared of you,' they're saying this because they're scared."
On the other hand, Taylor also reserved applause for Bayern’s midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 and Franck Ribery who are
certainly the back bone of Jupp Heynckes’ team.
Taylor wished the Bavarian giants all the very best for their upcoming first-leg of the semi-final tie on Tuesday, April 17, at the Allianz Arena. “I love to watch Bayern Munich. Toni Kroos is very good. I like Arjen Robben, I
think he's a great player. Franck Ribery ... I think they're all great. They are a great team," the legend concluded.
Bayern are fresh from a 1-0 defeat away to the reigning German champions and will next take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166 on Saturday, April 14. The Reds’ loss has also hampered their title chances as they find themselves six points short of Dortmund
with just four games remaining in the campaign.
