Philadelpha to NYC by train or bus?

What is the best way to get to NYC from Philadelphia by train or bus? I've heard about a Chinatown bus, but it doesn't really sound safe. Is there a Greyhound bus or NJ Transit bus I could take straight to NYC? Or is there a train that goes from Suburban Station or Market East? Any help is appreciated.

  1. Sorry but if youre afraid of the chinatown bus, which is ridiculous, then you certainly don't want to get off at trenton.
