Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick getting tough time from defence – NFL News
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is facing a tough challenge during organised team activities as the defence keep on posing challenges in front of him.
Although it is a bit annoying for Vick to face such a defence, he too considers it a good omen as the team tries to bring about improvements in its overall game-play.
According to Phillyburbs.com, Vick is of the view that some defensive players were unable to adjust into the system properly early on, but the quarterback maintained that the defence is working in proper chemistry now.
He said:
"They're ferocious. They were a little bit timid in the beginning of camp and OTAs, but they're moving around really well and know what they're supposed to do and what their responsibilities are. They look like they have been working hard."
Team chemistry is what Eagles need at the moment to develop into a good team.
Last year, they had some best players of the National Football League (NFL) on their roster, but their start to the season was pretty miserable.
As the players took time to develop chemistry, the team, which was considered as a Super Bowl contender, went on to lose its games.
When the Eagles finally got back to winning ways, it was too late for them and they were unable to even qualify for the playoffs.
No player or official of the team wants to see it happening again and that’s why it is a very good development for Eagles to see the players combining so nicely and effectively.
Meanwhile, Vick, whose performance was affected due to different injuries last season, is also working hard to stay in shape and deliver his best in the upcoming season.
He is already watching his previous tapes to identify his flaws and working hard to improve them. He is also working to improve his technique and is satisfied with the progress he has made so far.
He said:
“I can do that from time to time, and I have to work on it, then it will take my game to another level. I feel like I’m getting there, so I’m going to continue working hard.”
