Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid to “look at everything” – NFL News
As Philadelphia Eagles enter their bye week, they have plenty of things to think about.
At the beginning of the season, they managed to collect some victories even though turnovers and fumbles were not controlled. Later, they lost a one-sided game against Arizona Cardinals and won the next game against New York Giants after a close fight.
Eagles also got lead in National Football Conference (NFC) East, but they blew it away and their current two-game losing streak has pushed them back.
The recent two defeats are pretty disturbing for Eagles as they gave away early lead and succumbed to pressure to lose these games.
There are many things for head coach Andy Reid to correct and he is up for reviewing each and everything in detail during the bye, hoping that Eagles will come out a different unit after the gap.
According to the details present on the team’s website, Reid said:
"We go back and we evaluate and tear things apart during this bye week and look at how we get ourselves better in both areas - as players and coaches. You evaluate everything and that's what we'll do from that standpoint. With 10 games left, we know that
there are a lot of games left. Anything is possible in the National Football League, and I still believe that we have a good football team. We just have to get a couple of things together here."
Reid admitted that there were many areas for the team to improve, but maintained that he would not share every minor detail with everyone. He said:
“I look at everything during the bye, but I'm not here to stand before you and tell you that.”
Eagles are 3-3 and ranked second in NFC East behind Giants. They have played three home games and three away games. Eagles have secured two victories at home, while one away from home.
Right after their bye week, Eagles will face Atlanta Falcons, who have been in remarkable form this season.
Whether Eagles are able to learn and get their focus set during the bye will be determined completely in the game against Falcons on October 28.
