Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick regrets fumbling the ball – NFL News

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has been improving his performance since the start of the season as far as yards gained and scoring drives are concerned, but the player has not been able to control fumbles and turnovers that are hurting the
team a lot.
Eagles’ defeat against Pittsburgh Steelers has once again brought Vick in the limelight, not for good reasons, and the quarterback has also regretted giving away the ball against Steelers, especially near the goal line.
According to the details present on the team’s website, Vick said:
"I wish I could take the fumble back on the goal line, but you can't. Ultimately, I think we put ourselves in position to win this game and we didn't win. That's how it goes in the NFL. You wish you could have some plays back. There are plenty of plays I
wish I could have back through the course of the season, but I can't.”
Vick finished the game completing 20 of his 30 passes for 175 yards while scoring two touchdowns. However, the Eagles still lost the game.
Eagles are leading National Football Conference (NFC) East after winning three of their five games, while the defending Super Bowl champions New York Giants also have the same number of wins and defeats.
Eagles must maintain a healthy lead in the division if they want to qualify for the playoffs, but things are not looking good for them at present. They have been unable to give consistent performance, and offence and defence are struggling to complement
each other on a given day.
However, Eagles head coach Andy Reid is optimistic that his team will be able to display good performance. Despite the loss against Steelers, Reid was still somewhat impressed with his team’s show. He said:
“It was a great effort. Guys on both sides of the ball played hard. It was just a matter of (getting) off the field at the end there.”
Eagles are now going to face Detroit Lions in Week 6 game before having their bye week. The management has still not said if it is going to replace Vick or not if he keeps on struggling.
