Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy and quarterback Michael Vick participated in practice session after recovering from concussion.
According to the Associated Press, the team will announce their availability when they will get clearance from independent neurologist and the team doctor.
Eagles head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder said:
"We're not listing them as out. They're still very much alive for things and we'll see how they do and take it day by day."
McCoy got concussed during Week 11 game against Washington Redskins, he has missed three games. He has 177 rushing attempts for 750 yards with two touchdowns.
Vick suffered concussion during Week 10 game against Dallas Cowboys, when Cowboys linebacker Ernie Sims hit on his head in the second quarter.
Vick has 185 of 316 passes for 2,165 yards and scored 11 touchdowns with nine interceptions.
According to Burkholder, McCoy and Vick are in fifth phase of post-concussion rehab, and after doctors’ suggestion they will be allowed to play game.
Eagles are going to host Week 15 game against Cincinnati Bengals, who have won seven and lost six games and are standing at second position in American Football Conference (AFC) North.
Rookie quarterback Nick Foles has replaced Vick. His first three starts were not good but recently he has won his first game in his rookie season against Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Improvement in Foles’ performance is amazing, and the team now has high expectations from him.
Eagles head coach Andy Reid was proud of Foles, and said:
"This will be another challenge for him doing it on a short week. I know he was here late last night going over stuff and I'm sure it'll be the same tonight. It's one more step. Let's see how he does with it."
Foles said:
"There's no awkwardness. Our relationship has stayed the same. I'll always support Mike and I know he'll always support me no matter what. Our relationship will stay the same."
Eagles have won four and lost nine games in this season, and they are standing at the bottom of National Football Conference (NFC) East.
