Philadelphia Flyers’ teammates, Claude Giroux and Danny Briere, go head to head against each other in All-Star Game

As anticipation grows for the All-Star game, coming closer and closer, some players have other things to worry about.
While the All-Star game is not supposed to be considered extremely competitive, players on opposite teams consider it a match to give it all out for.
Fans love the idea of some of the best players considered in the game today to face each other under the same roof.
What do both think? They’ll have to wait until the Fantasy Draft.
Claude Giroux and Danny Briere, both teammates of the Philadelphia Flyers, might not have the chance to be on the same team, both do not anticipate a friendly encounter when they’re forced to fight over a loose puck in a corner.
However, hopes are high that they will have an opportunity to become All-Star teammates, come the NHL All-Star Player Fantasy Draft, organized by Cisco on Friday at the Raleigh Convention Center.
"I think it would be pretty nice to play with him, but if I play against him, I know we're going to go pretty hard in the corners", Giroux said when asked on Tuesday.
Danny Briere will join his teammate at the All-Star game for the second time and the first time as a Philadelphia Flyer.
Briere was honoured with the Most Valuable Player award in the 2007 All-Star game in Dallas, Texas, having scored one goal, four assists and helping tremendously in the 12-9 victory of the Eastern Conference over the Western Conference.
When told about the comments of teammate and friend, Claude Giroux, Briere laughed while showing appreciation for his dedication.
"We're both very competitive and there will be a lot of bragging rights back home with the boys, so I think it'll be a little intense (in the corners)", Briere told NHL.com in an interview.
Being the only two players from Philadelphia Flyers to be inducted into the All-Star game, they both certainly do have something to be proud of.
Nevertheless, that All-Star game induction didn’t come easy.
It was no surprise when Claude Giroux was included in the roster. Teammates including Danny were supportive because of his performance for Flyers the whole season.
