The Bayern Munich skipper has confirmed that the Reds will go until the very end in their title chase after drubbing Hoffenheim at the weekend.

The Reds played hosts to Hoffenheim on Saturday, March 10, at the Allianz-Arena with Bayern emerging as 7-1 winners.

Lahm expressed his delight at the way his side battered the opposition after recent criticism from the German media. The skipper mentioned that it was an outstanding display from his team. He stressed that his players made use
of their opportunities which proved to be a decisive factor in the end.
The German international is confident that the entire team will keep up their good work in the future games and push Dortmund down to the wire in the chase for this season’s crown.
While talking to reporters after the game, the 28-year-old further added:
"With that result, you’ll obviously say it was a great game. We took an early lead and ruthlessly converted our chances. We’ll fight for the title right to the end."
The defender insisted that the first goal was extremely important in order to press for a much-needed win. He showed his pleasure that the Reds were able to score as many as seven goals and stamp the authority over the struggling
opponents.
"It was 5-0 at half-time and the game was over. The important thing was taking the lead. It makes opponents realise they’re in for a hard time. And if you follow up the opening goal, it takes care of itself,” Lahm concluded.
Bayern are currently second in the Bundesliga standings with 51 points from 25 games and their next test will be against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Basel-c39079 in the UEFA Champions League.
The Munich giants need to win this game with a two-goal margin in order to advance further in the competition after losing the first-leg away to the Swiss side.
