The Bayern Munich skipper is predicting a bright future for his club, and credits Louis van Gaal for assembling quality players at Allianz-Arena.

He feels that the club is blessed with a lot of top quality players, and they can become unbeatable in the coming years.
The skipper believes that the Reds will become genuine UEFA Champions League contenders in a few years time. He added that his teammates are geared up for the second half of the season and he will not be surprised if that streak
starts from this season.
While talking to the club’s official website, the 28-year-old further added:
"We have so much quality in the team. We can look forward to a rosy future. We need to keep picking up experience, so we become genuine Champions League contenders at some point. And none of us would object if it was to be this
season.”
Lahm credited his former manager, Louis van Gaal, for assembling quality players at the Allianz-Arena. He stated that Van Gaal did extremely well in scouting the talent, and they have now become heart of the Bavarian set up.
"Louis van Gaal set the process in motion, and Jupp Heynckes has fine-tuned it. The players have taken the FC Bayern way to heart. There's real commitment. We're showing how hungry we are for trophies. Even in the practice matches,
no-one wants to lose." He concluded.
The full back has appeared in 17 league games so far this season, and has led Bayern to a successful first half of this campaign.
Bayern find themselves top of the Bundesliga table, and will resume their title pursuit once the players return from the winter break.
Apart from Bundesliga, the Bavarian giants are also in contention to win the German Cup and Champions League. They have qualified for the knockout rounds of both the competitions.
