once again put them in contention for a possible treble at the end of this campaign.
Lahm stated that Bayern made use of their opportunities which eventually propelled them to add six more goals in their season’s tally. He insisted that each player has been in terrific form of late and the Reds can beat any side
if they maintain their current form and composure.
While addressing official Bayern website, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international further added:
“You have to take your chances and make sure you score - that's what happened in the last two matches, and it's happened again today. It's obviously easy after that."
The skipper admitted that his players went into the relax mode after going six up in the 67 minutes but hailed their overall form which has kept them in contention for this season’s Bundesliga. Bayern are now five points adrift
of Borussia Dortmund in second place on the standings table with just eight games to go in the season.
“We started really well [against Hertha] and scored three early goals. That meant we were confident and settled. We were careless for 15 minutes after that and Hertha had two or three good chances, but overall we can be very pleased
with the match," Lahm concluded.
Bayern will next be up against Borussia Monchengladbach in the semi-final of the German Cup on Wednesday, March 21, before returning to league action on Saturday, March 24, against Hannover at the Allianz Arena.
