Having previously heard from Bayern Munich manager and president of Bastian Schweinsteiger’s injury, the club skipper Philipp Lahm has now jumped into the conversation.
Lahm has urged his side to stay composed in the experienced midfielder's absence.
The skipper was talking ahead of Bayern’s upcoming league fixture against FC Augsburg, which is to be played on Sunday, November 6, at SGL arena. Schweinsteiger, who has been ruled out for at least a month, is certain to miss Sunday’s game.
The fan favourite suffered a collarbone fracture during Bayern’s Champions League game against Napoli after colliding with Gokhan Inler in the second half. The player had to be removed from the pitch immediately and was replaced by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anatoliy-Tymoshchuk-c5539 on
the 54th minute mark.
Lahm expressed disappointment at his teammate’s injury and reckoned that the Reds will find it difficult to adjust playing without him. He regarded Schweinsteiger as an ‘asset’ for the club and hoped to see him back in training at the earliest.

While talking to reporters on Bastian’s injury, the skipper further enthused, "It was a definite shock and it was immediately noticeable in the way we played. We obviously hope that Bastian can get fit again as soon as possible. For now though, we'll carry
on without him and are still aiming to take points away from Augsburg on Sunday (Monday AEDT)."
Apart from the game on Sunday, the German international will also miss a crucial tie with Borussia Dortmund and the Champions League game against Villarreal.
Bayern are currently enjoying a four-point lead with Schalke at the top of league standings and will next lock heads with FC Augsburg on November 6.
The German giants are also on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League round-of-16 as they lead their Group ahead of Manchester City and Napoli.
