Philipp Lahm says Bayern Munich will adjust with Pep Guardiola – Football news
Germany captain, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philipp-Lahm-c29929, believes pre-season is a great chance for the players and head coach, Pep Guardiola, to get along with each other.
Bayern Munich left-back, Lahm, has insisted that the Bavarian outfit will require time to adapt to trainer, Guardiola, before the start of the new campaign. the talented boss agreed a three year contract with the Allianz Arena outfit in January and took
over from former coach Jupp Heynckes.
“We need time to get used to Guardiola, but that won't take long. We are all paying close attention to what's happening. Pre-season is long enough to get used to each other. I am not worried about that,” Lahm was quoted as saying in an interview.
The retired manager guided the club to their first ever treble last season. On the other hand, former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078 boss has started his job ahead of the new term and the defender feels the new coach should be offered time to adjust to his new settings.
“He is communicating all the time and does a lot of talking. He wants us to understand him as soon as possible. Plenty of things will change,” he said.
However, the skipper stated that Pep will adapt soon as he is eager to learn the German way. Therefore, the team members are cautious and are looking forward to the pre-season to know each other well enough. The former player is taking time out to chat with
his players and wants them to know what he wants from them individually.
“I have already experienced a lot of coach swaps, though, so this is nothing extraordinary for me. It's all part of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684,” he finally concluded.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 international suggested that he has worked under a number of coaches during his time with the club. He further added that the management change is all part and parcel of the game. He likened the situation to a change in a company where a new
boss is appointed and new things start to get implemented. As a result of this, it is too early to make any predictions.
