Inter Milan’s young Brazilian prodigy, Philippe Coutinho, is keen to stay with the Nerazzurri for the upcoming 2011/12 campaign and doesn’t want to go away from the Italian giants on a loan transfer deal.
Reports from Milan suggest that the Serpent might send the attacking midfielder out on loan for his development. But the 18-year-old Brazilian is keen to stay at San Siro and learn from his fellow teammates, wearing the black and blue jersey.
Recently talking to the Inter official channel, the attacking midfielder said, "I hope to stay here, but that's up to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567. If it were up to me, I'd remain."
Coutinho has had a tough time adjusting with the pace of game in Italy as the Brazilian style of football is slow paced compared to the Italian top flight. The attacking midfielder said:
"The speed of the game was the biggest problem I came across here in Italy, compared to how we play in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wesley-Sneijder-c36799, who plays in the same position as I do, is really fast. Maybe this is the biggest issue I've encountered.”
The midfielder has being wildly tipped to have a great future, with many comparing the young sensation to legendary Liberian footballer, Zico Doe. When asked how he feels about comparisons to such greats, Coutinho said:

Inter have had a tough term in Serie A, often hitting lows in the ongoing 2010/11 season. Last season’s Treble winners crashed out of UEFA Champions League at the hands of the German underdogs, Schalke 04, in the quarter-finals, and later, dropped behind
AC Milan in the race to defend the Scudetto. The only title left in reach of the Nerazzurri is the Coppa Italia and the team is looking forward to defend it.
