Philippe Mexes has insisted that the news of his fight with the team manager, leading to his exit from the club is a rumour that holds no ground.
The defender is among the many names in the Diavolo squad that are being linked with a move away from the club at the end of the ongoing season, and he was recently reported to have joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Clarence-Seedorf-c9275 in a shouting match with
Massimiliano Allegri.
The Rossoneri centre back insisted that rumours of him leaving the club or fighting the team manager are saddening to read in the newspaper. He stated that the he has had to struggle hard with the knee injury, and insisted that
now that he is back on the field, he wants to return to his best form in the game.
While talking to AC Milan’s official channel, the French national said:
“It hurts to read reports I want to leave Milan or had a fight with the Coach, as none of it is true. After the knee injury it was not easy to get back on to the field, but now I want to get back to my usual levels.”
AC Milan are currently placed just one point behind Juventus in the run to the Scudetto, and have just two games left in the season to overtake the Old Lady to the Serie A title.
