  1. inspection of laptops is a random thing. how would they know the programs are pirated?

  2. Officially, there are strict laws about p****y and you CAN get arrested, jailed, and deported if you're caught.  HOWEVER, their airports are not really known for screening for pirated items (they're more concerned about terrorists, criminals, and visitors on fake visas), so I seriously doubt that violators will get caught at the airport.  Just my take.

  3. about a year ago the company I work for sent some software from the US and the process before was that Edu Manzano needed to sign a approval document before shipping it in the Philippines.  I'm not sure what the process is for laptops that has installed software. If they suspect you, just tell them it was preinstalled on your machine and that you didnt' know they were not legit

  4. Never heard of airport security checking programs on a computer anywhere. They wouldn't have the technical staff. Nor do I think they are interested. They check your computer physically to see it really is a computer not a bomb. Never in all my travels have I seen a security officer turn a computer on.  They wouldn't have the time anyway. Who would they check with and how could they check?  Give microsoft a ring for every passenger with a computer or hook it up to the net?

Bad bad boy/girl but don't worry.
