Philippine citizen and US legal resident(with green card) need to travel to canada. do i need a visa?

im going there for a few days for the wedding of a cousin. the call center operator was no help. do i need a visa to visit or is the green card enough?

  1. Yup, you just need your Philippine passport and green card to enter Canada.

    My nephew will do the same this july.


  2. No you do not need a visa, you need a passport & your Green Card when traveling both ways

  3. Easy one.

    USA Green card holders do not require visas to enter Canada.  You must also have your passport with you.

  4. NO, you do not need a visa! All you need to have with you is  your US  legal resident card. I would take your US state id card with you as well if you have one.

    Furthermore, even though you technically do not need your passport its still a good idea to take it with you.
