Philippine passport renewal expedite?

I just wanted to know if it's possible that I could get my philippine passport renewal expedited since it's about to expire on november 7 and my flight is scheduled on december 16.

And does anybody know how long the process would take if I send my application through mail? I live in Jacksonville, Florida and I'm planning to send it to the Philippine embassy in Washington through snail mail.

Better to send the application through the fastest way so that your new passport will be sent to you the soonest.

FedEx it to them.  If your FULL middle name is not on your old passport then you will have to include your birth certificate with the application and old passport before they give you a new one.  It takes about 10 days.

Good luck if you try to call.  They never answer the phone and the voice mail box is ALWAYS full.
