  1. You may walk in, or mail in your renewal application. Passport renewals usually take five (5) working days (do not count Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays) provided that all the documentary requirements have been met. Only in extreme emergency cases, such as death of a relative in the Philippines, and subject to the discretion of the consular officer, are immediate release of passports allowed.

Contact the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles:

    3600 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 500, Los Angeles, CA 90010; tel. no. (213) 639-0980 to 85/fax no. (213) 639-0990 / e-mail: LAConsulate@pcgenla.org.

See the following website for more information:

  2. Usually one week (including Saturday & Sunday).  But if you file via "Rush" way, you can get it in 3 days.  But you have to pay more for that.
