Singapore never made any kind of impression throughout the game. Team Philippines headed out aggressively right from the beginning and never looked back. The starting five of Philippines displayed some tremendous teamwork in the
first quarter and restricted the opposition to 9 points to procure a massive 21 points advantage.
The Singaporeans strived to retaliate in the second quarter; however the opposition showed no signs of retreat and continued to dominate the proceedings. Christopher Ryan Lutz and Aguilar carried the action for the Philippines
in the second frame and amplified the lead to 37 points going into the break.
Singapore had some success in the third quarter when they outscored Philippines 20-17 to cut down the deficit to 34 points but in the larger picture, it didn’t make any difference on the outcome. The Singaporeans were pushed back
towards the lowest performance offensively in the fourth quarter when they landed only 8 points as the Philippines sealed a huge 55-point win.
