Philips 300wn5 green stripe on screen. We have a Philips 300wn5 LCD which is about 3 years old.

Question

We have a Philips 300wn5 LCD which is about 3 years old. About 6 months ago, we started to notice some intermittent green spots in the middle of the screen. About 3 weeks ago it developed a definite stripe of green about 5cm wide down the center of the screen and in the last week it has developed a similar blue stripe down the right hand side. Can it be saved or is it time to buy a new one?
