Question

Hi there.My TV doesn't respond to the remote control for turning it on and off. Volume controls work as do channel controls.I just purchased a new universal remote and cannot set it up because when it finds the right code, it's supposed to turn off, but it can't...does that make any sense?Please help.Thank you.
