Phillies fans what do you think?

Do you think the Phils will stay in 1st and make it to the world series? or do you think they'll lose in an early round of the playoffs?

They're gonna lose the division.  Their starting pitching is not nearly strong enough to carry them to that crown.

2. What evidence do you have that supports a Philadelphia collapse to date? There is none, and if there is, I'm sure you don't know about it. I happen to have a little bit of rock hard evidence that supports a Mets collapse, however.

Yes, the Phillies absolutely will win the division. The Mets and Marlins have yet to win at a good time, and be able to capitalize on the flaws of the Phillies. That is something that needs to happen for a team to win a division. The Marlins will be a lot more of a threat next year, every year they are getting stronger. But this year, the Phillies have the edge in bullpen for sure, starting pitching (not by much, but they've held on), offense, and definitely defense. None of the teams in the division compare to the talent and potential the Phillies have this year, and assuming they continue to fully use it, the Phils have a good chance on making it to the playoffs. Last year was good for them, they got a taste of the playoffs, and they want more and they deserve to get it. I'd certainly like to think that the Phillies will play better this postseason if they make it than last year.

They'll be in first and the mets can't do a thing about it because utley and rollins are rolling and howard is getting their they just need hamels, blanton, lidge, and victorino, not to mention burrell to step up and help get the job done and they will lose to the dodgers.

I definitely think they will stay in first AND make it to the world series.  But I am a very optimistic fan.

I still think that the Phils can take the division although Florida scares me a little but I think that the way the team was built is not for success in the playoffs.  The pitching will kill the Phils in the playoffs.  I think this is another season of heartbreak for us Phils Phans!

EDIT: Sorry, I guess my answer should have been..."LIKE OMG THEY ARE GOING TO WIN IT ALL BECAUSE THEY ARE THE GREATEST EVER AND I LOVE THEIR s**y BUNS!"  But I am a realist and if you can not handle a proper repsonse to your questions then you may want to consider not asking questions any longer.
