Phillip Hodson appointed as the new president of Marylebone Cricket Club
The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) have appointed former Cambridge cricketer, Phillip Hodson, as their next president for a one-year term, starting on 1st of October 2011.

The current president of Marylebone Cricket Club, Mr. Christopher Martin-Jenkins announced the appointment of Hodson at Lord's, on Wednesday during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the club.
Paying tribute to his successor, Martin-Jenkins said that Hodson is a great man who is greatly respected by everyone who knows him or has worked with him.
"I believe that Phillip Hodson will become only the fourth President in a very long line to be what one might call Yorkshire through and through, and he follows three very distinguished presidents indeed in Lord Hawke, Sir Stanley
Jackson and Sir http://www.senore.com/Cricket/William-Worsley-c98024,” said Hodson’s predecessor.
"Phillip is a man greatly respected by everyone who knows him and who has worked with him at the MCC, and he has already been a great servant of this club," he added further.
