Sjoholm said, "I putted well today and that is what I always have to do when I play well and shoot good scores.
"I am never that great from tee to green so for me to go low then I have to putt like a magician and thankfully the magic wand worked again today".
Like many other renowned players on the tour, Sjoholm is also honoured and privileged to be part of the field at the royal course in Agadir.
The course, designed by Robert Trent Snr., is King Hassan’s personal course where he rarely lands to play a round or two.
The course is kept in excellent condition throughout the year and some have gone to the length of comparing it with the coveted Augusta National at Magnolia Lane.
Sjoholm added, “I just love this place and this course. It is a real honour to be invited here and I don’t think people back home realise that it is more difficult to get a tee time on this golf course than it is to get onto Augusta”.
Top-ranked players in the field of the likes of Edoardo and Francesco Molinari, Major Champions Rich Beem and Michael Campbell, eight-time European Tour Money List winner Colin Montgomerie and Italian teenager Matteo Manassero have not been able to impress the crowds as yet.
Italian prodigy, Matteo Manassero is still lurking in shadows after a lacklustre second round of two-under, 70.
He fell for an early bogey on the back nine and remained level-par for another four holes. He then went over to card three straight holes before making the turn.
Hoping to surge into contention through the halfway mark, Manassero had a disastrous start of the front where he fell for two consecutive bogeys to fall behind the ranks.
He regained his composure to card two birdies but lost one of them to yet another bogey at par-four, 7th. He closed the round with a birdie on the last hole.
For the Englishman Robert Rock, winner of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the event is turning out no less than a disaster for the moment.
After dropping a shot for an unbelievable seven times on par-four, 4th on the first day, Rock is little hopeful to surge into contention for the rest of the rounds.
His sloppy pull and hook at the dreadful hole caused him to fall for a five-over 77 on the first day.
The second day was no less different than the first where Rock carded a whirlwind round of four-under, 68.
His round included double-bogey seven on the first hole of the front nine, an eagle at par-five, 5th, two bogeys and six birdies.
