Phillip rivers?

Do you think he could be a starter qb on a fantasy league and that team actually have a chance to win it all?

I think so. Rivers usually puts up enough numbers to at least break even. The key is if his weapons (tomlinson, gates) and himself can stay healthy. The good thing with rivers is that he passes to LT a lot, and we all know what LT can do once he has the ball. Gates is a TD machine when healthy, so I think Rivers has good chances if everyone stays healthy.

Sure he can, since Palmer, Brady and Kitna are the QBs that will be throwing to those WRs.

Question is, what do you have for RBs.

Rivers is fine to have as your starting QB, but he isn't going to put up huge numbers by any means, but with the WRs you have they should make up the difference. (Remember the Chargers offense goes throw LT)

The difference maker will be your RBs.

He could do alright, he has Antonio Gates and L.T. as possible weapons. The only downfall to Rivers is he doesn't have any proven wide recievers.
