Phillipine law on tenancy

i am a tenant of this commercial bldg that just caught fire...the whole ground floor where completely raze by fire..but the second floor where i am selling my merchandise was half fine..luckily the stall that i am renting is also fine..just that goods were blacken by the smokes cause by fire..they say that investigation is still on going..so our merchandise is frozen inside the stall..is the management liable to any damage on our merchandise?it's like almost 2 weeks now since the bldg. caught fire...please advise filipino lawyers

  1. Those firemen and pulis have probably already picked over your stuff to get what they want.  By the time you get back in there maybe nothing left.  


  2.    Look into your lease contract - see if there is a provision that says that the lessor will compensate you for damaged inventory  due to a fire that did not originate from your leased unit.
