Phillips 50. While watching tv the audio shuts off. I can change the channel or cycle the power

Question

While watching tv the audio shuts off. I can change the channel or cycle the power and it comes back right away. The manual says if it doesn't receive a signal the audio will shut off. I have satellite so i was wondering if maybe some of the signal was missing and the audio shut off. Please help before I throw the remote through the tv.
