Phillips DVD Recorder / VHS question?

Question

i was wanting to put a 6 hour vhs tape on a blank dvd & record into the dvd recorder. I know how to do that. But how can u program it somehow and seperate EACH show automatically? I have a marathon of 30 min shows that fill up a 6 hour vhs tape and i dont want to sit there watching everyshow and just pausing when one ends and one begins manually. Is there a better way? Just asking

p.s. i have standalone dvd recorder and a stand alone vcr

Hi Mr Fleming,

One way to do it would be to insert a "chapter marker" at the end of each show.

Check your manual for instructions on "chapter markers". I marked them on my DVDs. You will have to do it before you finalize.

My recorder also offers the option of automatically inserting markers every so many minutes. I usually let it mark every 10 minutes.
