Depends on your attitude towards life, if you are happy and content with your life as it stands at this moment in time then there is no need for change, as change can sometimes be detrimental.  If you are unhappy now then you will strive to make things better for yourself either by self improvement through education or other means therefore giving yourself more options (whether you choose to act upon those if a life choice) maybe a better job or a better mental outlook upon your situation in life.
