Question:

Philosophy or sociology along with psychology?

i wish to do a joint or major minor degree with psychology. I've never been to a philosophy or sociology class but both sem interesting from the little i've heard and experienced to thought i would try somethin new along with psychology which i love.

from your own personal experience which did you enjoy and why?

which is provides the better skills in general for being thought well of in the working world?

  1. Take one or two classes in each.

    Both are useful and interesting. If one clicks more for YOU, then go for it.

    What I found most useful in philosophy was critical thinking -- learning to think clearly and carefully about whatever you're thinking about.

    But sociology (which I've read, but never had courses in) is both useful,and a nice adjunct to psychology.

    And remember, classes needn't be the end of your education.


  2. I would say philosophy.That way you can think critically and examine the Secular Humanistic roots of Psychology and Sociology.You won't be taught that in those courses.Even if you have no problem with it,you'll be aware of it.
