Phone Attacks?

Last night, I recieved a series of 4 seperate phone calls, all of which when I picekd up no one was on the other end. One of the calls made my house phone make wried ringing noises. Now when I try ot use my phoens I get no dialing tone and they all say that the phone is in use, when clearly none of them are.

I am able ot get dial tone on one phone, however each number I dial it saids that it is busy, and while dialing using that phone, the other phones continue not to work.

I tried disconnected each phone from the wall, and still get nothing.

  1. Have someone call your home to see if the line is busy. We have a double line and had the same thing happen. So I went to work and called home and got a busy signal which should never happen. The phone company came out and one of our jacks was causing a short so they replaced it for us and we haven't had a problem since.

  2. You have a fault on the line and should report it to your service provider.
