No. There's no way around it. Either use a phone card or get charged for a long- distance card. If you aren't already in Columbia (which I'm assuming you aren't), especially if you're on a different continent all together, then you pretty much have to pay some kind of fair. I'm sorry. It's ussually not that expensive, though.

No, not from your PSTN home land line phone - not free.

Also,Talkster.com does not serve free calls to Columbia - it is not on list of free countries, and requires calls to be "initially setup" on computer or SMS - not by PSTN landline.

Calling cards are your best bet in this case.

Pingo charges 3.8 - 5.8 cents/min, depending on area.

Tel3 charges 7 cents/min

I don't know what you have to do!  Do you want to block calls?  I know how to do that!  It's easy.  There is a do not call list.  My mom has had people on her do not call list.  I haven't.  I have a cell phone.  I don't have to worry about it!  I have a cell phone.  Idiots can't call me.  I call them idiots!  'K!

I am pretty sure you would need a card.

You can call,but it will be country to country long distance;very,very expensive as you will use a few thousand miles of phone wire and several minutes making the connections.

Im guessing you have to buy a card because it is long distance. My mom uses a card when she calls her family in Europe.
