Phone call to turkey??

ive gotta phone turkey(marmaris) tomorrow night and was wondering would i be better calling from my mobile (o2 network) or a landline which would be cheaper? im in liverpool uk.

  2. It will depend upon the particular calling packages you have for your O2 mobile and your landline, but on most of the basic packages it will almost certainly be cheaper to use the landline.

    What will almost certainly be even cheaper is to quickly get yourself set up with an alternate carrier, such as http://www.18185.co.uk

    For example, the current tariff to call Turkey (landline)  with 18185 is 4p connection plus 1p per minute, versus a standard BT landline rate of 27.5p/min daytime or 23p/min. evenings & weekends.  Even if you subscribe to one the BT international packages, Turkey is still 8p/min.

  3. it would be cheaper to buy a calling card. you dial the number on the back then the number you want to call. My husband uses the iphone card to phone his family in Turkey. You can get it from nearly anywhere that uses paypoint. you will get more value for money that way and have a longer conversation
