Phone charges?

If i was talking to someone I called and didn't put the phone down properly, will I still be charged even if they put the phone down at the other end?

no as long as they hung up then it will disconnect automatically.

Yeah you will. I did it once in portugal. I accidently rang someone in England. They tried to put the phone down but it was still connected. After about 20mins the net work switch the connection off.
