Phone does not ring?

although my phone rings when tested on call set up, it does not ring when someone calls me. a little box in right hand corner comes up and even when I press accept I do not get the person

  1. There is a setting for Ringer OFF/LOW/HI. Make sure it is not set to OFF.


  2. probably the speakers got damaged
