Phone got a little wet/ battery life reduced alot?

my phone got wet. I let it dry out. now it works but the battery dies out after about 2 hours of being turned on also it get hot right where the battery meets the phone.I made sure this connection is dried out. will it work if I buy another battery or is it a waste of money?

First of all, leave your battery out to dry for at least 24 hours.

Second tip, buy a new battery. If that doesn't solve the problem, then you need to have H20 repair work done on your device.

This involves cleaning the contacts and corrosion on your mainboard and reheating the mainboard (to dry it out). If that doesn't work, you're s.o.l I'm afraid. Electronics and water don't mix too well........
