Phone jack?

Question

if my phone jack doesn't work is there a way that i can get a phone jack without having to drill a hole in my wall like some sort of adapter?

im trying to set up internet at my house (dsl)

and i dont have a "house phone"....

Your phone jack doesn't work, apparently, because you don't have 'house phone' service.

Just about any phone jack can be hooked up to your house phone line at the utillities junction box.

if u have access to the internet u can get VOIP thru globalinx...check out www.5linx.net/lab for all their plans. They are only 24.95 per month and much better service than vonage. we got the videophone so we can "see and talk" to our family members in other states, but they also have the 2 port adapter that u can take with u.. like if u go out of town or something and ppl can still reach u just as if they're call her house.. that's 24.95 month as well.  my friends and i say this technology could put cell phone carriers out of business! hope this helps
